A creation by Emiliano Pellisari for the twentieth anniversary of NoGravity Theatre.
With Avantgarde, the company celebrates two decades of scenic research with a performance that fuses dance, visual illusion and contemporary art into a radical experience.
A stage manifesto.
An act of rupture. A visual construction.
The stage becomes a machine: space tilts, fragments, recomposes itself.
The dancers defy gravity within a dynamic architecture, drawing impossible figures among mirrors, light and suspension. They do not dance: they carve trajectories, generate lines, traverse planes.
The body becomes sign, energy, poetic matter.
Mirrors, light, matter: elements of a new grammar.
Movement becomes structure, gesture becomes architecture.
Inspired by the avant-gardes of the twentieth century — from Futurism to the Bauhaus, from Loïe Fuller to Nijinsky — Avantgarde does not quote, it propels forward: toward an idea of total art, where technology, theatre and science converge into a single visual language.
No narrative. No digital illusion.
Everything happens, here and now.
A dreamlike journey through geometries and visions, where beauty becomes abstraction and harmony turns into vertigo.
